Project & Cancellation Terms

Last updated: September 8, 2026

A clear agreement before work begins

Every paid engagement needs an accepted written proposal or agreement identifying the contracting parties, scope, fees and responsibilities. This page explains how project arrangements are documented; it is not a substitute for your agreement. Contact contact@sitevow.com to discuss a project.

Scope, revisions and timing

The agreement specifies pages, features, supported content edits, included revisions, milestones and approval steps. Additional development or changes outside that scope are quoted separately. Schedules depend on timely materials, feedback, access and any third-party dependencies.

Payments and third-party costs

Deposits, payment milestones and due dates are stated in the proposal. Domain renewals, email, paid hosting and other paid services are disclosed separately. No payment is taken by the public inquiry form. Do not assume that every third-party cost is included in a build fee.

Client materials and permissions

Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information and having the necessary rights to supplied text, images, logos and other materials. Any permissions to show the completed project in SiteVow’s portfolio should be documented with the project.

Ownership and handoff

The agreement identifies the custom deliverables the client will own, the transfer conditions and the source files, exports and access included in handoff. Third-party code, fonts, stock assets and services retain their license terms; they are not transferred as exclusive client property. Supported owner-dashboard edits and a handoff walkthrough are included as described in the agreed package.

Self Managed and ongoing care

Self Managed work is a one-time build with the agreed handoff; later development is quoted separately. SiteVow Managed work adds the maintenance and support expressly agreed in writing. Update limits, response expectations, backups, recurring fees, renewal terms and cancellation arrangements must be defined in that agreement. General ongoing-care wording does not promise unlimited changes or round-the-clock support.

Cancellations and refunds

Send cancellation requests to contact@sitevow.com. The accepted agreement and applicable law determine payment for completed work, treatment of deposits, third-party charges and any refund. No blanket no-refund rule is imposed by this page. Maintenance cancellation, final billing and transfer arrangements are set out in the maintenance agreement. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Ending a service relationship

The agreement should document final deliverables, account transfers, exports and removal of provider access. Domain, hosting and email services may have separate provider terms. Confirm those arrangements before canceling services needed to keep a website operating.
